{"id":6568,"date":"2023-12-20T20:08:46","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T19:08:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hias-hamburg.de\/?post_type=events&#038;p=6568"},"modified":"2026-01-05T16:44:19","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T15:44:19","slug":"cuba-the-caribbean-and-its-global-connections","status":"publish","type":"events","link":"https:\/\/hias-hamburg.de\/en\/events\/cuba-the-caribbean-and-its-global-connections\/","title":{"rendered":"Cuba, the Caribbean, and its Global Connections."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conference brings together a group of German and international scholars researching topics on Cuba and the Caribbean from colonial times to the present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized into three panels, the first will be dedicated to the slavery plantation system in the Caribbean basin and its long shadow over the region and the modern world.
