The research focuses on women workers in precarious sectors (public services, digital platforms, care work). On the one hand, it seeks to document a range of expressions of violence—particularly those expressed through digital channels—towards trade union leaders. On the other hand, it aims to identify the modes of response and resistance developed through the link between women workers’ organisations and feminist organisations fighting for digital and labour rights and against gender-based violence. The project will explore the links between technopolitics and artistic practices to reimagine feminist futures in the world of work.

Website

Florencia Partenio

Funding

The HIAS Fellowship is provided by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the federal and state funds acquired by the University of Hamburg in the framework of its Excellence Strategy.

Tandem

NN.

Biography

Florencia Partenio has a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Social Sciences.
