Masses, Crowds, Capitalism and Democracy: A sociological Tale from Argentina

#Thursday Colloquium with Pablo de Marinis

At his #Thursday Colloquium Pablo de Marinis presents his work in progress of his current research and of the book derived from it. He deals with the transformations of the concept of masses and multitudes in a time span of a century and a half, as it has been elaborated by the Argentine social sciences. His work leads to a reflection on “mass neoliberalism”, currently in full development in various far-right political experiences that are taking place in the world – not only in Argentina.

This event is adressed to fellows and their tandem partners.
