The role and practice of decoloniality/decolonizing in different fields and disciplines

“Die Verhüllung” by Joiri Minaya , 2021

#Tuesday Spotlight by Karolin Machtans and Dennis Schmidt

The idea of this input before the weekly Fellows’ Lunch is to look at and discuss the role and practice of decoloniality/decolonization in the different fields and disciplines that both fellows represent. Karolin and Dennis will make some brief opening remarks, but the principal aim is to open up the group and hear what decoloniality/decolonization means to the others. As the fellows come from different disciplines and academic systems, this exchange promises to be multifaceted.

This event is addressed to HIAS Fellows and Tandem Partners.
