New: Advisory Council for HIAS

Ten renowned experts from different scientific fields form the new advisory board of the Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS). This international body will advise the Board of Directors and the Presidium of HIAS on all scientific matters. In addition, the Advisory Board supports the Executive Board in the selection of fellowships for domestic and foreign guest researchers.HIAS offers them the opportunity to pursue individual research questions and establish new networks for the duration of their stay, unhindered by professional obligations.  The members of the advisory board are elected for three years.
