Dr. Malte Herwig, journalist, writer and literary critic as a guest at HIAS.
He is the author of, among others, the Peter Handke biography Meister der Dämmerung, and The Woman Who Says No: Françoise Gilot on Her Life With and Without Picasso, based on numerous encounters with the painter in which he interviewed her.
His lecture ‘The Art of the Interview’ will be followed by a moderated conversation on ‘Life Writing’ with Constanze Güthenke.
