Workshop: PDEs theory, numerics, and applications

This workshop, organised by Giuseppe Maria Coclite and Ingenuin Gasser, is dedicated to special equations, so-called partial differential equations. These are used, for example, to describe phenomena from nature and technology. The workshop will focus on applications with a fluid-dynamic character and will particularly try to explore the interface between theory, the numerical (algorithmic) realisation and the underlying applications.

A good interaction at the mentioned interface promises the best possible feedback from the theory for the problems of the users.
