Writing in Dark Times
Thursday Colloquium

#Thursday Colloquium with Natan Sznaider

Inspired by Hannah Arendt’s conviction that even in the darkest of times we are entitled to expect illumination, Natan Sznaider asks himself: what form does that light take in the face of extreme violence? He decided to write a novel. It seeks to be a “flickering light” within an obscure public sphere. By weaving together “scenic memories,” he aims to surface diverse perspectives on the world while unearthing the hidden layers of his own family history.

This event is adressed to Fellows and their Tandem Partners.
