This roundtable conversation, initiated by Amy Padula and hosted by the Joachim Herz Stiftung, will enable an informal exchange between the participants who are experts in medical research, maternal-fetal medicine, epidemiology, economics, and policy.
One important point for discussion will be on the relationship between the environment and human health in vulnerable populations.
- How can we best quantify and understand this relationship?
- What can we learn about the reproductive and immunological systems by studying environmental
stressors? - What are the implications for public health regulation and care of pregnant people?
